Music of the Movies will be the fourth full-length album to be released by American child singer Jackie Evancho. It is scheduled to be released in September 2012.[1] The album features songs used in popular films, even though some of them were originally written as singles or show tunes.

PBS Special and DVD

On June 13, 2012, PBS has scheduled a live concert taping for a new Great Performances special called "Jackie Evancho: Music of the Movies" at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. It will be directed by David Horn and conducted by Bill Ross, and features selections from Evancho's forthcoming album. The special is expected to be aired on PBS stations beginning in August 2012, and a DVD version of the program is expected later to be released.[2][3]
Evancho's first PBS special and DVD were released in 2011, titled Dream With Me In Concert.[4][5]
